    Hey ya'll i just got an XPS 15, but I'm a Ford mechanic, so i'm not sure what you would normally do with this thing, and there's not one sticky in this section to give me any ideas.
    I've already been to dell.com and entered my service tag, and waded thru what i thought to be the best updates.

    What are people doing? i noticed overclocking; i'll pass.
    Good programs to have? anything neat for this particular lappy?
    Major concerns (other then the one about thermal tape or whatever) to be aware of?

    L501X:
    i5-560M
    1080p display
    6 gigs ram
    backlit keyboard/bluetooth
    256gb SSD (which is very quiet, fast!)

    any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    like am i TRIM capable? do i need that? where do i find it?
