I recently sent off my XPS because of overheating issues, battery life issues, and my computer would BSOD when I would try and use the computer. The form they sent back said the only thing they could cover was the overheating issue and they installed new heat sinks.

Since I've gotten my laptop back my overheating issue isn't much of an issue. However, I am no longer to do any minor gaming when I travel with my laptop. I try opening Team Fortress 2 and it refuses.

Before I sent my laptop off systemrequirementslab.com would register my computer as having an 8600m GT with 256mb of RAM. Now it says I have integrated graphics with 16mb RAM, making any sort of gaming impossible. On top of that my laptop has Blu Ray, which I'm sure will not play either. Since my warranty expired soon after I sent my computer off I don't think Dell will bother fixing the problem.

Basically, I think Dell has turned my graphics card off in the BIOS instead of actually fixing my computer. I'm wondering if anyone has insight on this problem or can tell me how to reactiveate my video card. Any help is appreciated.

It's definately not a driver issue?
