Well I bought Crysis today and my GPU temps are fluctuating between 76 and 78 while playing Crysis and that is with no notebook cooler and the room I am in is not that cool either. Plus I have the 6 cell battery so the back is not propped up to allow more airflow. I think I ended up with a good GPU.

One question though, my CPU cores are running at 60, is that a decent temp while gaming?

all you got to really do is to take out the battery while plugged in then get like a textbook and put it under the back of ur laptop so it rises up (kinda ghetto i know) but doing so will help the heat actually vent out since the fan is near the back of the laptop

i run crysis warhead on my 1530 and i get a max temp of 72. Even at your temps they are fine.

They are normal for that usage.. don't worry...

compare it with the idle temp' though..

For the CPU u could try ORthos, a very nice stress test and see how much the temp' max out at....

    Good luck.

oh wait, it has reached 82 at some times 0.o
