Can someone help me figure out why my battery drains while my laptop is turned off and not plugged in? It started just a few days ago and I can't figure out why it would do this. Nothing else seems to be wrong with my laptop. Thank you in advance!

check the bios and run Dell's diagnostic utility: it will confirm if the system is seeing and re-charging the battery properly i.e. is is a battery issue or a motherboard issue

Are you sure it's fully switched off and not in standby.
