    XPS 1530 freezes

    all I did was install COD4 and punkbuster with it, I played it twice the same night and used the comp the whole night and now in the morning it will startup and as soon as I click on something it will freeze!

    oh yes I installed ESET NOD32 without disabling PC-Cillin...

    I can't go into task manager, the only way to turn it off is the power button. :(

    Boot up into safe mode (F8 after POST) and just do a system restore.

    hi im having the same problem here, except when i try to start with safe mode it freezes when loading crcdisk.sys or something like that.

    really format. and go fresh. format the hdd and get the dell crap out of there. dont use pc cillin. I use nod 32smart with spybot and they never interfere with each other and work great like BB !!!
