How big is the difference in size and performance between:

    LED screen
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LED LCD (1440x900)

    Glossy
High Resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LCD (1440x900)

    Size?
    It's obviously the same size.

One of them is LED backlit, which means that the screen will be brighter (and brightness more even across the entire screen) and at the same time use a tad less battery.

i think you mean the lcd 1900 x 1200. and the size is pretty different- theres a post somewhere on the forums about it. Personally I dont like how small the text is when looking at a 1900 x 1200 screen on a 15.4 laptop. and the LED 1400 x 900 looks amazing!

I meant the actual physical size of the screen.
On the XPS 1330, the LED is smaller (less thick) than the regular LCD.
It is also lighter on the xps 1330...
