    XPS 1530 stopped suddenly.

    Please, i've had xps 1530 for almost 5 years and no problems at all. Then suddenly it stops. Dell says I need new motherboard (they think). Spoke w/Dell and they said they could fix for $500--

    I paid a lot ($1800) for this laptop and I'm just looking for me advice if any of you have experience with this.

    All M1530's have the defective Nvidia motherboard. I would NOT recommend spending 500 on another defective motherboard, there are so many choices for that much money that smoke an M1530 in terms of performance.
