Hey guys.. The past week or so I've been noticing these pixelated blotches appearing randomly on my screen. I was finally able to snap a pic of it to show you for an example. They appear at different spots for no apparent reason. Not often, but at least once or twice a day.

Do you have any idea what it could be? I guess I'm just concerned if this is the beginning of a GPU failure. My GPU temps have been pretty consistent for the past 6 months. Idling from 58-68, gaming from 71-80. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks..

It may be related to Nvidia's defective GPUs; although that problem was a while back, it is a long-term issue that is more likely to surface over time. I would suggest you send the unit to Dell for repair.

Hmm that's what I was afraid of. I guess I wanted to know if anyone who experienced a GPU failure had these symptoms before it finally crashed.

im afraid thats your GPU having its last preyers... call dell to have it replaced, ( the reason i know its your gpu its because if the spots appeared in tha same place it would be either your OS failing, your screen, or your graphics driver, but if its at random places then its surely the GPU... but you could try changing the drivers...)

Alright thanks... I'll give the drivers a try, I'm using 180.40 right now. If that doesn't solve the problem, I guess I'll send it in
