The left click button on my touchpad was damaged by my sister, and my laptop is out of warranty. I want to replace it, but before I buy anything, how easy is it to replace? I pretty much assume that I need to replace to entire assembly, don't I? How much does it cost?

    fixed.

The post above is your friend for finding out how to do it...you'll have to find a replacement on eBay ( here) or from Dell directly. There are different part numbers depending on options...fingerprint reader etc...You may want to call Dell, give them your service tag, and ask for a part number.

Not hard but it sounds annoying. It looks like it requires removing the display assembly, memory, keyboard, Bluetooth, and wireless card before replacing the palm rest.
