Hi, recently got a replacement for my laptop with an xps 1645. However when it got here I was having a hard time viewing the screen with the wide screen view. My current laptop has a

    15.6 945p HD+ WLED LCD

However I have an option to get either a

16" FHD RGB Display in Merlot Red with leather and 2.0 MP Webcam, 1645/1647

    or

15.6 FHD WLED Display in Merlot Red with leather and 2.0 MP Webcam, 1645/1647

I'd prefer to have a more normal screen size. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between these three monitors. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have a limited time to decide!

RGB LED is the upgraded LCD panel. It provides a much more rich and vibrant picture. It's a no brainer to pick RGB given the choice. Side by side, my RGB LED 1645 blows away my wife's WLED 1640.

How are you dealing with the screen size ratio of being a widescreen?

Do yourself a favor and get the 16" rgbled. Not that I didnt know it before but Im watching bluray 1080p Avatar rip. The screens native res is 1080p...Its so ridiculously clear and crisp and vibrant. Im looking through a window, its amazing.

Doesnt the rgbled screen draw more power and still an issue for some causing throttling?? At least thats what I was reading..

Also can one tell if they have an rgbled vs a wled Full hd?? I was suposed to get the rgbled but was told my replacment was a wled and now I question what i got?

    Thanks,
    saridnour

I believe the 16" is the only one that is rgbled.
