    Hi,

I just received this machine, and so far so good.

There is some screen behavior that has me a bit confused though and I'm hoping someone here might have thoughts or advice about it.

Every now and again, the screen gets just a bit dimmer for just a very brief moment, not much, just a bit, and pretty quickly, and then comes back to normal. It almost looks like it wants to go into it's "power saving" mode or something, for a moment, and then back out.

I'm not sure what to make of it...

    Please share your thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Just realised this earlier this evening. I believe there is a thread on this already..RGB flickering or something like that.

Are you talking about the hole screen dimming after not using the mouse or kb for a few minutes? If so, that's a Windows setting.

A lot of people have experienced a "flickering" backlight when not at 100% brightness.

Yeah, it looks like it "blinks" for a moment, though not fully to black, just a little bit, and once every so often. Is this the behaviour people are seeing?
