    XPS 1645 and RAID

    I replaced my HDD with an SSD, dose anybody know if it possible to remove the optical drive and put in another of the same ssd and raid the two together in the XPS 1645?

    No and besides if you RAID SSDs you lose TRIM so they would degrade at a significantly higher rate than not having them in RAID.

    Never looked at it before, but this implies you can using RST (though I can't find anything related to RAID in BIOS etc).

    The bigger problem you have is that the other SATA port is SATA1 as far as I know (optical drive).. so speeds will be poor.
