So i just got my 130w adapter, i have the latest BIOS update and throttlestop. I haven't found any guides for the latest version of throttle stop so im not sure what im doing. I have the set multiplier to turbo and im not sure if i should check both clock modulation and chipset clock mod or just one or the other. SC2 has been running way better with the new adapter in general but it still gets choppy when im doing alot of actions. also it will at multiple points in a game randomly get really choppy for about 5 seconds and then clear up again. this is all on lowest graphics setting too. THANKS

Read Throttlestop forums. My 1640 has Performance settings of clock, chipset 100%, set multiplier 10.5 (for 2.7 ghz cpu), vid 1.10, BD Prochot, others off.

The lowest settings (Battery) are set multiplier 6.0, vid 0.95, power saver, slfm, bdprochot, c states, others off.

I have never had throttling/overheating issues after installing Throttlestop.
