    Hi!

    I'm wondering if anyone knows if they're going to make one with 1080p screen anytime soon (sandy bridge remake, etc.)?

    Or would I have to get the Alienware one?

    Yes. You should go through and read the threads on the XPS board. They may be delayed though due to the whole Intel chipset fiasco.
