    XPS 17 -> Connecting to a VGA Projector Help Me Please

    Anyone know what I would need to connect the XPS 17 to a VGA projector?
    I've noticed every solution is to go from HDMI -> DVI ->VGA, but some places sell converters for £100+.

    I've also found adapters which go from HDMI -> DVI and then another cable which goes from DVI->VGA.

    Solutions can cost from 1 adapter and 1 cable totalling £20 to solutions which cost >£300....

    Really confused any help would be fantastic!

    Going from MiniDisplay Port -> VGA should work for you. Newegg has a cable for $20 Newegg.com - Encore ENCA-MDV Mini DisplayPort Male to VGA Female Adapter

    There is a MiniDisplay port on the back of your XPS.

    Buy a MiniDisplay port to VGA adaptor to connect to a projector.
