Let's state first of all, that all I need this notebook for is school and some games (The Witcher 2  ) so I was looking for better graphic card. However from what I see, GT445 isn't so much better than GT435, so is it worth putting i7 (which I probably won't even fully use, i5 is more than enough) to have GT 445?

The GT445 is, at least according to 3dmark06, about 40% faster. Don't know how that translates into real world performance, there are some other benchmarks in the long xps17 thread.

I myself went for the GT435/i5 combo. Hoping that itll be nice and quiet when using the integrated graphics. Should arrive next week :)
