    Hey guys,
I was trying out different BIOS versions, because I thought the fan control on older versions would be better, but yeah that was dumb :/
However the A04 BIOS flashed correctly, but I cannot boot to anything, after the Dell logo I get 8 beeps, which stand for dead lcd, although my lcd is working fine and did work fine all the time.
In this state, my xps 17 is really useless, so I hoped that I can just flash another BIOS version with Phoenix Crisis tool, but I can't get into that BIOS-menu, that's supposed to start when holding "end" while plugging the power cable into the Notebook. However I can enter the BIOS (A04) but withouth being able to boot from media, it's kinda useless.
Had somebody a similiar problem and could provide me with a solution?
