Hi, my Notebook is more than 2 years old; out of warranty. As it was quiet expensive (> 1.600 EUR), I'll try to fix the issue on my own (with help of the forum).

Switching on the notebook it was not starting from time to time; situation was going worse. Now it doesn't start anymore. No difference if external power supply or accu.It just gives me one short blinking of the LED in the power button. No fan, no disc activity, no BIOS beep, nothing. Can't start FN test either.

I was convinced that the motherboard was defect and due to the fact that new motherboards are quiet expensive, I bought one from China. Changed the board but the symptom stayed exactly the same.

    Same defect in 2nd board?

Can it be the power button circuit or CPU; but if so there should be some beeps?

    Ay idea?

    Kind regards
    elisenjens from Hamburg
