As reported by Cnet.com HP, Dell laptops still advertised with faulty Intel chip | Nanotech - The Circuits Blog - CNET News

You can't select the l702x option from dell.com but you can find the link from google shopping.

It looks like you have to get a 3D screen if you want a FHD 1080p screen. Couldn't find an option for 1080p Screen without 3D. ( -- I wonder ... is this a B+RGLED screen? -- )

They're charging you extra for 3D glasses ... lame

Looks like theres no option to choose between chicklet keys vs standard keys, but backlit is still available

Nvidia GT 555m With Optimus (-- even though they said optimus will not be enabled with 3D? -- )

Either way ... probably not worth it to pull the trigger just yet, with all this faulty chipset fiasco

Hi, I spoke to Dell rep this evening, they will be pulling all HM67 chipset motherboards 'till this new respin is ready.

That means no XPS 17 L702x and no Alienware M17x R3 for the foreseeable future.

Looks like mid march at the earliest.

    Bummer.
