    Hi, I am on the dell website trying to order an i5 processor with 445m and it says it only works with i7 processors... is that true? or they are just bsing?

    There's a lot of discussion on this already, if you checked one of the other threads. There is no reason why the i5 / 435 combo wouldn't work for the 15, or the i5 / 445 combo for the 17, but for some reason there is no way to get Dell to configure one like that for you, not even calling them and talking to a sales rep.
