Hi, i thought it would be a good idea to open this thread up where people can share their Windows Eperience Index scores along with the configuration of the laptop. I have found that some people are seeing different scores to others with same configuration.

My system is the very basic model:
    2630 processor
    4gb ram
    3gb geforce 555
    900p screen

    My scores were:
    Processor: 7.4
    Memory (RAM): 5.9
    Graphics: 5.7
    Gaming graphics: 6.9
    Primary hard disk: 5.9

The processor and RAM are fine. But always remember that the WEI is totally an unreliable benchmark.

Mine is configured with the 425M GeForce, and I get a Graphics score of 6.6 compared to yours, 5.7. The 555M is much faster than the 425, though.

I would say that you should re-run the benchmark with no applications running in background.

When you do the WEI test only Intel's internal graphic chip is tested, not nVidia (except for the 3D system where nVidia is allways on).

I am surprised your RAM score is so low. My 1.5-year-old ASUS G73 scores a 7.4 in that category (I believe it's DDR3 PC3-8500). Or is that because you only have 4GB?

Interesting that I get the same score for my Processor 2720QM and for the Memory when I only have 12GB.

Is this Performance Tool really that accurate?
