    Hi Guys

I'm looking for recommendations for a printer (preferably laser) that is compatible with the XPS 17 l720x. One that isn't soley dependent on wifi / bluetooth for operation and has scanning and fax facilities. I'm a UK user.

XPS17 l720x users - what printer do you use (apart from Dell :D)

Any printer that has wifi or usb can be used on the 17. The model of pc makes zero difference its the OS that would make a difference if at all. But most printers should be compatible with 7 nowadays. As for recommendations, whats your budget?

Hey thanks for responding Sam_A. I'm looking to spend between £200 - £300. Something not too heavy / bulky. Efficient & reliable with a decent print speed.

You can get a lot of printer for that sort of money, i personally havent bought one in 3 years and even then it was a cheapo one so im probably not the best person to recommend one but i would start having a look on the major retail sites, currys, comet, ebuyer, aria, overclockers, scan, dabs etc and see what you get for your money. Im sure there must be a printer expert on here somewhere though.

Ta thanks. Was looking at the laser printers on Dell's website and they are pricey. Shall cast my net more far afield.
