This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     XPS 17 single key issue - easy fix?

    Took delivery of my XPS 17 with backlit keyboard exactly 3 weeks ago

    and from the 1st day, i noticed that hitting the "3" key in the top row would slightly dislodge it. If I hit the key on the left side, the right side comes up, a good 30 degrees above where it should be... it does push back down and looks ok, and it doesn't actually come off... no other keys do this...

    is there an easy fix for this keyboard?
    Not something I want to send to Dell to have looked at....
