    Hi guys!

I've been having some trouble with my Dell XPS 17 over the past weeks.
Everytime I play a game/render a video/..., my laptop starts slowing down and the fan starts spinning very loud.
Programs aren't responsive anymore and it's kinda hard to work with that.
(I attached a picture of the task manager when the system is slowing down).

The only solution I've found is to close my lid and wait for the laptop to go in sleepmode.
The slowingdown-issue is solved, but the fan keeps spinning loud until I completely shutdown the laptop.

Is this an issue that is common with the XPS 17? I would presume this is weird, because my specs are very high.
    - 12GB RAM
    - i7 processor
    - Nvidia GT555M
    - 2X HDD (thinking of upgrading to an SSD)

So guys, can you help me out?

    Thanks!
