I was thinking of upgrading two of my laptops to 256GB ssd, then i just randomly read on here that there are SATA 2nd Hard Disk Drive caddy for the m1710.

Anyone used them? Currently have a 500gb 7200 in the xps, and have been waiting patiently for the 256ssd price drop (50% since christmas)

Now i see there are aftermarket drive caddys for the m1710, so a much cheaper 128GB ssd for main drive and the 500GB in the cassy is a better option.

    Anyone tried those caddys?

(How did i not know about them before....)
