    Hi

I have a 4 year warranty on my 1730, I was considering getting a x9000 processor and installing it myself. Would this void my warranty at all?

    TIA

I did it for myself. The technician wont care as he is not from dell but 3rd party service provider. Once I have even fixed my friends M1730 with my warranty. Just have a nice talk with him and offer him a soda. :D
