Since AW is part of DELL and the m17x is capable to go up to 1TB (RAID 0) I was wondering if we are going to be able to have the same capacity in the XPS 1730?

The 1TB option is the only thing that is holding me back to buy the XPS 1730 instead of the AW m17x.

Also Is hard to believe that AW is part of DELL, because as far as I know quality and costumer support are very very bad.

For sure the 9262 is a better machine, but the proble is that since I live in France a Sager/Clevo are more expensive compare with DELL or alienware.

BTW do you know where I can find a 500GB HDD on the net?

yeah, People forget the people overseas and how much Clevo/Sager will cost them, the total will be over Dell/Alienware price, so we can say that Dell/Alienware is a better buy for people overseas

Your right!!. But why the Sager/Clevo are more expensive in Europe?
The ROCK notebooks http://www.rockdirect.com/ are a good example of expensive CLEVO notebooks.

That is correct, but you have to consider:

I have to pay the international shipping + France Taxes ~ 30%.

If I have a problem with the laptop I have to pay 2 way international shipping every time :(

So It is very expensive option $$

Probably is less expensive to pay the round trip ticket to someone willing to bring the Laptop ;) to France
