I need some advice. I received a new notebook replacement that has a Samsung screen. The overall color and picture quality is excellent except for about ¼ to ½ inches of light bleeding across the entire bottom of the screen. This is more prevalent when the screen is a darker color and is more noticeable when the screen is viewed at any off angle. My original notebook (which I purchased five months ago), came with an LG screen that had no light bleeding at all.
Here are my questions:
Do you have the same type of light bleeding with your screens (whether it is a Samsung, Sharp or even an LG screen)?
Am I being too unrealistic in wanting a screen without any light bleeding across the bottom? (Perhaps this is now normal for the newer screens that are being made now?)
Should I take a chance to have Dell replace the screen? (Based on reading some other posts, I am afraid that I may get a screen that looks even worse.)
Any help or advice would greatly help me to determine what I should do!!

Tim,
That's very common on the Samsungs...but they do have the richest blacks and the richest colors. I would not replace it since there were reports of the Samsungs becoming sparse. I think you would be far less happy with a different screen.. -
Thanks twinpeaks for the input!
Does anyone else have any light bleeding along the bottom of your screen with either a Sharp or LG screens?
