    Hello,

My XPS 9530 has great battery life in general (~8hrs of normal use). Although, when I fully charge the battery and put it to sleep (by closing the lid), the battery drops to ~25% in around 24hrs while in sleep the whole time. I can understand how there is so much battery being used when the computer is just sleeping. My old inspiron 6400 could last days like this.

I have it set in the power configuration to do a regular (not intel deep sleep) when closing the lid
I have intel smart connect turned off from the UI in windows (in the task bar).

Has anyone had the same issue? Or can anyone suggest something that I am doing wrong?

    Thanks!

I've got the same issue but I haven't tried to figure out what's wrong. It hasn't bothered me much yet but I did notice it. I wish I could be more helpful.

No worries, thanks for the reply.

I also noticed there is an option in the BIOS to disable Intel smart connect. I have done this. I haven't had a chance to monitor any changes though. Try it as well and see if it helps.
