    Hi guys,
I own an XPS 9550, I am looking to buy an external monitor for gaming, as the ghosting on the screen is a bit annoying to play FPS.
So I am wondering what would be the best refresh rate I can plug to my laptop.
I am looking to buy a 24 inch in 1080p. should I go for a 144hz or lower?
If you have the same kind of setup, it would be great if you tell me which adpator you used.

    Thank you

You have to take into account that the 960m isn't that powerful. I don't know what games you play, but they would have to be very lightweight to justify buying a 144hz monitor. If you can get 60 fps with the 960m you should be happy.

I play mostly overwatch, it runs at around 100 fps. But I am more asking about the output of the usb-c. is it compatible 1080p 120hz?144hz? or only 60hz?
If someone with a 144hz display could tell me the maximum he gets on it when connected to the XPS that would be great.
    Thank you
