Just got the XPS 9550 and going through the Windows 10 set up and toying around with it, suddenly the screen dimmed slightly and everything now has a reddish hue to it. The color before was crisp and vibrant, but now it's a little bit dull and the reds are super bright. I wasn't doing anything other than uninstalling dropbox at the time and then the screen just dimmed and turned a little red.

I've tried adjusting it the redness through the graphics properties but it doesn't help, it makes things really blue or really red.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have the intel HD graphics 530 and GeForce GTX 960M if that helps

What happens when you shift the display / panel around? like, try to open / close it?

It could either be a software problem.... or it could be a physical hardware issue, where the delicate ribbon cable connecting to the display is loose, or damaged.

Jiggling the lid *MAY* help show if it's a damaged ribbon cable, if you notice image changes while you do it. However, even if the image doesn't change, it could still be a damaged ribbon cable.

In any case, it sounds as if a call into Dell Support is in order.

My 3 day old 9550 did the same thing the first day too. I updated the bios and all drivers and haven't seen it since.
