I've been running the 9560 (FHD) for about a year and it's been pretty good to date. I mainly use it for AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp. But recently (last month or so) it's started slowing down (75GB left on the SSD). I've installed all the updates recommended via the Dell Update software (I suspect now this is probably a bad idea) but I have uninstalled all the NVIDIA guff apart from the drivers.
Most recently though it's started being glitchy/laggy in AutoCAD, Chrome and the odd other application. I've looked around and it's been suggested that disabling the Intel Graphics 630 and using the GTX1050 for everything (which is fine by me) would help.
My 2-part question is (1) whether this is OK to do and simply done via Device Manager > Graphics Adaptors > Intel Graphics 630 > Disable this device? and (2) is there a generally accepted set of tweaks/drivers/settings collated anywhere that'll give the 9560 the best performance available?

Furthermore, you should look into that SSD capacity issue. SSDs really need like 20% of free space so they can move stuff around internally and balance the wear of your SSD (via TRIM). Most SSDs already keep a part unallocated and unusable (like 7% I believe), but to keep writes speeds optimal, you want to increase that space by just not filling your SSD. Try looking into external storage (HDD or SSD) if you have the possibility.
