This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Shame... but guess Dell neither need, nor can really stand competition under its roof... :(

    If only Alienware gets their non-transferrable warranty sorted out, I'm all for this transition; but until then, I'm not going bother with the new AW branded Dell XPS gaming laptop.

    The M17x looks great, and allows all of the Dell discounts, as well as transferable warranty. We'll have to wait and see if they continue on that path with new models. A new M15x would be very welcome, especially if they also allow Dell discounts/warranty options.
