I have an XPS Gen 2 laptop. The 6800 Ultra Go graphics card has died. I want to replace it with an ATI X300. Searching eBay, there are many different types. Does it matter which model it is? If so, may someone please tell me which of the following is compatible with this laptop:

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Bake it in the oven instead, the GPU that is. Just search for bake GPU´s. My old go 7800GTX failed but I got it to life again by baking it in the oven.

Wow. I thought you were joking, but this actually works. I was watching a tutorial by some muscular black guy, and then tried it myself. Baked it at 385 F for 8 min. The card's solder leads got all shiny and hot. After cooling, I put it back in the laptop, and no more artifacts! Do you know how long this will last?
