Hey guys..So anyone know why they took I7 procs out of the configurable options on the xps15 and xps17. i went to go configure one and the I7 isnt there anymore. ALso with the xps15 i cant choose the 435 graphics card without the i7 on the xps15. Im going to call but i hate dealing with them on the phone. Any thoughts..Thanks!

Never tried to configure an XPS 17, but for the XPS 15 the i7 was always required for the 435 Graphics Card.

just got off chat with dell

so Intel released the second generation of the I series processor a few weeks ago, but has recalled those.

I definitely apologize about the inconvenience. At this time, Intel has not informed us on how many or which ones are actually being recalled. It may cause a delay but at this time we do not know. You can get the latest and up to date info on the sandy bridge issue from Intel here: Intel(R) Redirect , or you can monitor our corporate Blog at Direct2Dell.com
