When I click the left touchpad button it stays stuck in the downward position. It used to happen occasionally and from certain angles, but now pretty much happens whenever I use it. (Mostly I just tap the touchpad to left-click, but ever once in a while you want the button so you can click and drag.) I can un-stick the button by pressing firmly on the touchpad right above the button. This downward pressure causes the button to POP back up.

Did anyone else have this problem? I'm assuming this means I'm going to have to send my computer to DELL. It's only about 2 months old.

If you didn't spill any liquid on it, or anything of that nature, sounds like a bad touchpad. Do you have on-site service? Dell would most likely replace the entire palmrest.

Yeah, no spills or anything. I returned my on-site service to save 55 bucks, so I guess if no one has any fixes (ie. all you need to do is tighten this screw, etc.) then I'll have to send it in.

No one else had this happen? I'm surprised. The touchpad buttons seems a bit wobbly to me, compared to other computers I've owned.
