    Friends

    Hello to you.
Bluestooth was working fine till i reinstalled some new drivers (including bluetooth). I am thinking the order of installation matters and now i have messed up things. I am using latest version of all softwares/drivers but I cannot receive bluetooth files. I can send files via bluetooth though.
    Can someone help please?

Don't use the newest Intel Bluetooth driver (must be v17). They don't work.

v3.1.1311 for example is the latest bluetooth driver for Intel 6230 WiFi card. The thing is that some drivers don't support all cards or hardware or that some drivers are only for very specific hardware series. It can be read in the changelog/release notes that belongs to the driver if your Wifi card is supported. Same is with the Intel HD graphic and the pure WiFi driver 'Intel PROSet Wireless Software'. A secure way to get the right driver is to use the Intel Download Center and by choosing your hardware there.

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/
There choose 'Wireless Network' -> 'WiFi Products' and your WiFi card you have build in.

Bluetooth functionality is always bundled with the WiFi card. This refers to Intel products. If you search your WiFi card in the Intel Download Center you will see "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software" this is the pure WiFi Driver. You have to install it at first. And you'll see the "Intel® PROSet/Wireless Bluetooth Software". It has to be installed after the WiFi Driver.

Which WiFi hardware do you have build in?
