I have the following problem with the XPS L702x: when I try to wake the computer, for a moment you can see the desktop, but after a few seconds, the image becomes dark. After over a dozen seconds you hear the beep and then after another tens seconds, beeps again, and another after a further few seconds (so, a total of three times of beep every few seconds). After another few seconds the system will reboot and start with the message that Windows recently has not been properly closed. A similar effect also occurs when you try to exit from hibernation. Everything works OK until the next exit from sleep or hibernation. I am afraid to use sleep or hibernation. Has anyone encountered a similar problem and could help me? Thanks in advance!

have you got the 3D version? if so, you need to change the refresh rate back to 60 hertz from 120 hertz when not using 3D.

120 hertz and hibernation/sleep mode aren't the best of freinds. This has been flagged with Dell, however I'm not sure they'll ever get around to addressing it :(
