    XPS M1210 GO 7400 upgrade?

    Looking at an XPS 1210 with a GeForce GO 7400. Is there any upgrade possibility here?

    If you're referring to the GPU, there's no chance. Not only is the GPU soldered to the motherboard, the M1210 never shipped with anything faster than the 7400.

    Else, it can take any Socket M CPU, any 2.5" SATA HDD, various wireless cards, etc.

    Ah, poop. I've swapped MXM cards, wasn't sure what it was. There's my answer

    That Vidock alternative looks cool and promising, but a bit intense for me, since I'm poor and not the most confident modder. Will keep an eye on that though.
