Does anyone know the average battery life of 6-cell battery for XPS M1210?
i bought the laptop in feb 07 ...up until now i could use for about 3hrs....recently while im in class it only stays charged for about 1hr even with the low power settings....if i decide to use IE/Word or any other program at the same time it drains faster

I have complete care/onsite/everything with dell for 3yrs but they said they would cover the battery since batteries are only supposed to last around 1yr

they also said batteries are never included in warranties. ???WTFF

so the damn thing is going to cost me $205CAD

oh and i recently had to get my MOB, heatsink, lcd replaced ...over heating...
