Its nice but 1280 by 800 is too small a resolution for my needs. I need at least 1440 by 900, and preferably 1680 by 1050. (What can I say, my E1505 screen has spoiled me
)
Im waiting for a 15" XPS system -
Very nice. I am going to place a order for a client later today -
WHAT no option for a higher resolution screen, no SLI , no choice of X1900 video card , moan groan and biatch , still Dell came through with a ground breaking never seen before type notebook (????) .Allways room for improvement , yes , since it might possibly have a micro desktop style board in it , which means (and yes I have seen it) a dual video card system. But then think of the size of the power brick it would then need (150Watts ???, I think not).Looking forward to Dells style of fine tuning.

Where can we CONFIGURE and PURCHASE?
-
Click the link in the first post and then hit the continue button.
-
There is no continue button, plus the link in the first post goes to the XPS product selection page, not the M1210 page.

Click this link for direct config of youre choice

Oops. My mistake.

I just noticed... unlike alot of Dell models, there's no option for matte vs. glossy screen. Does that mean glossy is the only choice? How reflective are dell glossies? I'm a big fan of matte screens myself, but I know I'm losing my ability to choose that option...

No... I was going to get a W3J... but now, I don't know anymore...
Do you think there will be coupons available for M1210? -
No education discounts apply since the XPS line is geared towards businesspeople, and not teachers or students.
Other than that, I don't know of any other discounts. It seems it's still coming out to be just as expensive as its competitors. Those $750 off coupons would be awesome. Does anyone know if any of those coupons have ever been applicable to any of the previous XPS notebooks? -

Ya, the M1210 is too small. Now if they put dedicated graphics in the E1405, then we would be set. That's the thing I don't get, the E1405 is "too small" for dedicated graphics, but yet they can put some in a 12" form factor?
14" is just perfect. -
wow overpriced

Now available in the UK, but damn expensive!! £1,200 for model with T2400, dedicated graphics card, 1GB Ram and 100GB hd. £900 for basic model with T2300E integrated graphics card, 512GB Ram and 60GB hd (and have to pay extra £70 for intergrated webcam). Also in both cases supplied with 6 cell battery and XP-Home.
XPS M1210 is now available
