    Hi..

I had installed my OS by switching the Hard disk to parallel device from BIOS.
Now I want to switch it back to SATA.

I have the XP CD that has the DELL drivers for SATA. How can I do this so that I don't lose any data?

    Regards,
    JaX

You have to install the Intel Matrix storage drivers within XP, reboot it, and switch your SATA setting to AHCI. There are plenty of guides as to how to do this floating around.
