I bought a refurbished XPS M1330 with the LED screen. How do I find out in Linux which vendor my screen is? I did a lspci but it did not list the screen(makes sense since it isn't pci).

I am asking because I like the M1330 enough to send it back and buy a new one instead. But I am worried that I will get a diff. vendor screen and not like it as much. What are the chances?

Place an order for a new one and once you get it compare screens. If you like the refurb screen better, swap it with the new one.

Then return the refurb. No harm in that :)
