    Hello all.

Basically I have been using a very good desktop with Windows Vista Ultimate up to now along with a Logitech Wireless Laser Dinovo bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
When I had the desktop I used to be able to press the sleep button on the keyboard, the PC would sleep and then I would be able to press any button on the keyboard to wake it up.

I have now sold the desktop and moved over to using my M1330 solely, the M1330 is connected to my Dell 2408 24" monitor, with the laptop lid closed. I am basically using it as a desktop.

But now when I press the Sleep button, all functions as normal but to wake up the M1330 from sleep I have to press the Power button on the M1330, neither the laptop or DiNovo keyboard will wake up the laptop.

This is obviously a problem as I like to have the laptop closed and I have to get up to press it as it is quite a long way from me.

So basically is there anyway that I can make it wake up with the keyboard like my old desktop?

I have update the Logitech keyboard and mouse drivers, initially I thought it was because of Bluetooth being asleep but not even the laptop keyboard wakes it.

I have tried to change the Power Save settings in Device manager and done the Wake on USB Enabled in the BIOS. I am currently using the Inbuilt bluetooth of the M1330 but have tried the Logitech dongle aswell.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I just recently got an external monitor for my M1330 and have tried to use it with the lid shut. However, whenever I keep the lid shut, the computer seems to get extremely hot. I am afraid that it is going to overheat, so I have ended up leaving the lid open while using the external monitor. Has anyone else had this issue with the M1330? Is there a way around the problem?

i had this problem, but i had it like that, when i put notebook (xps m1530) to sleep, then everything was fine, but when i woke it up, then my notebook, started, hard drive, processor etc but which didn't start was my display. Display picture was stilll black, like nothing had happened, but my computer worked.
I solved my problem by installing back on nVidia 177.66 drivers, before that i had 180.70, and these were the issue..
