I'm like 100's of M1330 owners having video issues with this laptop. This was purchased in August of 2007 - no extended warranty. The laptop started showing problems immediately - unfortunately the laptop was my sons and it was with him in Iraq. he really didn't have the time to talk to Dell support and I'm pretty sure Dell wasn't going to send a tech into Hawija,Iraq to fix this.

Long story short, it's still broke and I have read 100's of forum posts etc. where Dell has tried to replace these and actually extended the warranties for the on board nvidia graphics adapter.

Has anybody gone down this process lately to get their laptop fixed? I'm looking for somebody that bought there's about the same time frame I did and was successful at getting repairs.

    Thanks.
