am almost sure of choosing VOSTRO 1400 but a trip down a DELL kiosk change my mind. well not fully. what material is used on M1330? does it feel solidly built? i've played witha Vostro 1400 and it really felt very solid.

The entire M1330 is chassis is made from Magnesium...so yes its quite solid, and light!

The only part that is not Magnesium is the monitor bezel (made from plastic), I THINK the monitor backplate is magnesium, but dont quote me!

Yes it is magnesium! The main reason they use magnesium is cos is EXTREMELY light, and also quite strong!

I even remember my rep saying it was made of magnesium, and there is absolutly no reason for him to say its magnesium if its really just brushed aluminium...not like it would make or break a sale!

Brushed aluminum palm rests.. Magnesium alloy chassis..

Should be durable.. does not feel as sturdy as a Latitude D630 though...
