    Hi all,

I am using my M1330 as a main computer and just bought Dell 19 inch LCD for dual monitor. The problem is when I connect my dell lcd to M1330, GPU temp goes up to 7-10 'C suddenly. When GPU temp is around 60, with dual monitor it runs around 68-69'C eventhough I didn't do anything at my extra LCD. Is there anything I can do about this? happen to anyone like this? My gpu is NVidia 8400.

    Thanks for your time.

    Are you using VGA? HDMI?

Are you using the internal LCD in addition to the Dell 19" LCD, or just the Dell 19" LCD?

Powering an additional display should raise the GPU's temperature, as there's more work for the GPU to do.

Thanks for the reply guys. I am using both monitor.
Then I think it is normal GPU temps go up when using both. hope it doesn't really effect my dell.

i've got a xps m1530, i have a dual screen setup as well. it is normal for temperatures to increase somewhat when using two displays at once!

if it is a perfect clone on both screens, the temperature increase won't be too much, but if you are doing an extended display, then yes!

my temperature also goes up, it's normal. it happens since there's more rendering that needs to be done by your GPU and CPU
