I read that the aluminum finish can cause electrical problems, and you can get a grounded wire from Dell. I just ordered mine last week, and it's shipping right now.

My question is: Does the M1530 come with a grounded wire, or do I have to personally request one?

    Thanks in advance. :)

what exactly do you need a ground wire for?

P.S.: I typed the above reply using M1530. I'm still alive, so far so good...

dreys, the m1530 was known to give its users shocks, through the aluminum covers, he was asking this because it did happen.

As for Rag's question: They fixed this issue some time ago, and the adapter does have grounding, it will not shock you in any way....

probably it will... if you stick your finger into the nice shinny round connector :D
