    Hi,
    I was wondering,
if i want to use simcard to use 3G internet on XPS M1530
Which dell WWAN card should i buy?
There seems to be various model there..
I want to use it for GSM btw

Also has there been any changes or mod to make it work under windows 7?

I'd rather not go back to vista or xp :(
Sorry if this has been asked but i can't find the answer to my question

The m1730 works on Win 7, my friend did it to his. I should imagine the 1530 would take 7 no sweat. Dell won't officially say it works, but it works.

No, I meant the OS itself will work on the system fine. If you can't find Win 7 drivers, Vista ones ought to work. I thought you were thinking that Windows 7 itself would not work on the m1530. It will.

As to the WWAN card, I have no idea what slot types are used there and what will work, sorry.

This is the wwan driver that i found from those ebay sellers

    Drivers and Downloads

Installing this driver on my XPS M1530 (win7) gives me

    "Not a Dell Compatible System"

Weird cause it says ok with win7 on its description
    Is it the driver?
Can anyone help me find the one that's compatible with win7?
