I just received my new m1530 today. Congrats to me :) Anyway, I was examining my laptop for any minor cosmetic damages, and I noticed that on the bottom right corner of the frame of the screen, there is a little flex. In other words, it seems that the screen frame is kinda loose. Is there a way to fix this myself, or do i have to send it back to dell? Thanks.

Hi, if you just received it, and are unhappy with it...It is under warranty, I would call Dell and have them either fix it....or replace it. ;)

Personally, I wouldn't try to fix something myself, that I had just received brand new. But if you knew what you were doing, and were positive you could fix, go for it! :)

I, myself ~ would contact Dell, and have them rectify the problem.

Congrat's on your purchase, BTW ;)

    Hope that helps ;) :)

    Hi

I'm having exactly the same problem and I don't know what to do.
Could you please tell me if and how did you resolve the problem?

    Thanks

Get Dell to send out a tech to replace the whole screen (i.e. the LCD and frame). I'd advise you to have the whole thing replaced, but then there's a good chance that you'll get a computer back with other problems. If this is the only issue, it seems like it would be pretty easy for a tech to just fix it for you.
